A select band of industrial employees determined to work for the cause of' social progress' got registered a charity trust 'Satkarmashradhashray' in the year 1982.
In the first place, high priority was given to the progress of underprivileged rural students. Leaving no stone (cinfurned) in exploring our target province. We found village Deharang in Panvel. Mere 16 kms away from the town though the entire province with a population exclusively of over 13000 Vanawasi (tribal) inhabitants was saus educational and healthcare facilities. Our unrelenting efforts towards making a headway into establishing a ' service centre' there ushered in opportunities to be in touch with generous well wishes.
Year 1990 finally saw our ' Mauli Seva Sankul' on a hilltop at village Deharang in Panvel region. Thus began the march of 'Satkarmashradhashray' on the path of social progress. (True to type)
Set to see big, our mission envisaged provision of easy access to education and healthcare for the Vanawasi (tribal) community. Aiming at bringing the helpless rurals into the mainstream of the society. We tried to be fit to the task. The task up hill though made us fight against all odds with efforts undeferred.
We, after a journey of last over four decades, are proud of our success that we attribute to the continued (manificerce) of many a well wisher that propelled encouraged our efforts.
Donations to Satkarmashradhashray are exempt under 80G of Income Tax Act.
We intend helping the underprivileged rural children, the Vanawasis in particular, by creating and easy access to good education for them. Besides we constantly create awareness about importance of education in life for them to try to match strides with those in the mainstream.
Our mission to provide education free of any cost has to a Great extent impacted on the minds of the tribals. As a result the number of rural student enthusiasts has been greatly increasing.
Along with education we see to it that the the entire tribal community is health conscious. Our relentless efforts to inculcate in the minds of tribal community the importance civics sense and social values have paid dividend.
We have been treating nearly 15000 patients regularly of any cost. We have eradicated the spread of seasonal diseases by conducting medical camps on regular basis. We assure the villager of their Healthcare, our dental, eye, skin care and routine checkup camps have earned us faith of the villagers. We are proud of this achievement.
Our vocational training programs for youth, men and women have been satisfactory in terms of helping tribal men and women run the household.
Technical skill development, modern agro skills, sewing and cottage industrial skill for the youth, men and women respectively have been our key training programs.
We intend expanding the sphere of our activities further.
